Utilized
extensively in research and development and to validate analyzer
metrics, Golftek’s swing robot can be programmed to produce
almost any swing pattern. It is capable of constantly repeating a golf
swing with better than one-fourth of one percent accuracy. We put this
motion control technology to work in a competitive test environment to
eliminate the human variable associated with traditional field-testing.
Golftek’s testing process involved setting up the robot for four
to five different swing patterns, then measuring ten swings with each
analyzer for each swing pattern. The results were printed out and are
reproduced with each report along with an analysis of that data.
